YouthWorks Year-Round Program


The YouthWorks Year-Round program began on October 5th for 17 students with their week long training of the Signal Success work readiness curriculum. Topics such as collaboration, teamwork, resume writing, project planning and career connections have been introduced. Youth have since transitioned to work sites. A sampling of jobs includes: National Senior Network, Clerical Assistant; Lowell Day Nursery, teacher’s aide; Boys and Girls Club, café, music, games, homework assistants.

The fall session will wrap up on December 18th. This project is funded by the YouthWorks program through the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development. The program is administered by the Commonwealth Corporation.
